I love to get outside, get dirty and garden. It is so therapeutic to soak in the sunshine and tend to my little slice of the earth.

Dessert Day – New Jersey Food Photographer

The cookbook project ( for Meredith Laurence, the Blue Jean Chef on QVC) that I have been working on is just about complete. Last week, we had a full day of shooting desserts. Just desserts with a few bits of breakfast food thrown in for good measure. A day of pure heavenly consumption.

I had the great pleasure of shooting the photographs for a SPECTACULAR new cookbook that is in the works from the Blue Jean Chef, Meredith Laurence (you can also read more HERE). The book will be sold on QVC and they are already planning a fantastic debut show when the book goes to print this fall.

My taste buds were in heaven! We actually got to eat the food after I was finished with each set-up and let me tell you, I was probably the hungriest photographer that they have ever worked with. What is a girl supposed to do? You can’t just throw away gooey chocolate filled raisin bread can you?

Well, maybe my husband was the hungriest person…he showed up with a cleaned out flower vase and a fork. Even the fedex guy was trying to get in on the action when he was delivering packages.

Fast, easy and fantastic recipes that make you feel like an amazing chef. Now I can have my friends over and say, “yes, I was up cooking all night just to make this dish. I am that dedicated to cooking.”
