I am going to have to break down this magnificent Australian wedding into stages. There are so many images I am going to share, and they each deserve their own little spot in the events of the day…..each event is such an integral part in the making of a wedding.

Here!!
My second home…well, I would like it to be my second home but alas it is not. Lennox Head and Byron Bay Australia, where I spent one of the best years of my life a very loooooooooong time ago. I was so incredibly lucky to go back after 13 years to see my dear friends, and to attend and photograph a most spectacular wedding. Most importantly I got to see my favorite country (ok, my second favorite) and some of my very favorite people and places. Oh, and did I mention that Dave and I had 10, yes 10 days without children. Words cannot even describe how amazing that was, we even decided that we will be just fine when the kids grow up and move out, because we actually do like each other’s company very, very much.

that I didn’t do, because as I said a few posts down…… I don’t photograph weddings!
This lovely bride just about promised me her first born (who by the way I would take in a second…because as you will see she is one of the sweetest and most beautiful little angels I know), if I would photograph her wedding. Truth be told, I was absolutely honored to capture this amazing day. Nichole was breath-taking and she and John have such a real and beautiful love. He is so smitten with her (and she him!) that it was a joy to photograph.
Did I mention she was breath-taking? I mean really beautiful.
The little one who is now mine, since I did the wedding….

I don’t, I really don’t do weddings. You can even read it on my website…”at this time I do not photograph weddings”. I wrote those words. But…if two of the most fabulous people (and the bride’s Mom) contact me, and then proceed to completely win me over with said fabulous-ness, the images just might turn out something like this. IF, I did weddings that is.
Jill has the best nose crinkle and eye sparkle when she laughs…..how could I say no to her? Really, can you blame me?
